“Croce Plays Croce,” a special night of music featuring a complete set of classics performed by A.J. Croce in honor of his late father, Jim Croce; some of A.J.’s own tunes; and songs that influenced both him and his father. The special event will feature such timeless songs as “Operator,” “You Don’t Mess Around with Jim,” “Time in a Bottle,” (a song written for A.J.), “Rapid Roy (The Stock Car Boy)” and “Lovers Cross,” to name a few. Classic covers may include songs by Lieber and Stoller, Bessie Smith and other folk and roots artists.

During the program, A.J. Croce will present the full album with a special film element. For the second half of the show, A.J. and his band will play other iconic songs from his father’s musical canon.

Tickets will go on sale here Friday, July 8, at 10 a.m.
