Sing, dance, and play as a family at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum the first Saturday of each month. Designed for families with children 5 years old and younger, Fam Jam is a participatory music-making experience led by Museum educators and a guest artist. The program introduces young children to country music instruments and encourages child development through moving, singing, and listening. This session will spotlight the autoharp and feature bilingual songwriter Rachel Rodriguez, who combines her Latin heritage with her rock & roll attitude and her soulful voice. She teaches creative movement and music in preschools around Nashville and has released a bilingual children’s album, Songs for My Little Amigos. Family music-making promotes language acquisition and the development of cognitive, social, and motor skills—and it’s fun! Ages 0–5. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
