The Museum travels to the Nashville Public Library’s North Branch for a banjo bash! Banjo professional and educator Robin Ruddy, who wrote and produced the children’s album Miss Robin’s Musical Farm, leads this hands-on workshop. Meet Miss Robin and learn about the banjo, a popular instrument in country music that originated in Africa; hear some songs; and dance to the music before trying the banjo yourself.

Recommended for ages 7, but all are welcome.

Presented in support of the Nashville Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge.
