Join a Museum educator to write a song as a group in this introductory workshop. Music professionals Hunter Sky and LA Strother will teach the fundamentals of songwriting, including form, theme, and rhyme scheme. Participants will then share ideas and write an original song. Hunter Sky is a Dallas-based singer and artist whose music fuses R&B, jazz, and country. Originally from Kansas City, LA Strother is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who has worked with several award-winning artists, including Corey Ward from The Voice. Recommended for ages 7 and up, but all are welcome. Taylor Swift Education Center. Limited seating. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
