Have you ever wanted to write a song? Join a music professional to write a song as a group in this introductory workshop. Singer-songwriter and recording artist Kyshona—who has been featured in Billboard and Rolling Stone and has lent her voice to recordings by Old Crow Medicine Show, Margo Price, Zac Brown Band, and others—will teach the fundamentals of self-expression through songwriting, as well as basic song structure, including form, theme, and rhyme scheme. Participants will then share ideas and write an original song of their own. Recommended for ages 7 and up, but all are welcome. Taylor Swift Education Center. Limited seating. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
