West’s well-received books include How to Raise a Lady and How to Raise a Gentleman, as well as the cookbook Around the Opry Table.

Her resume also includes positions as a record company media director (MCA, RCA), an independent publicist (Alan Jackson, Patty Loveless, George Strait), and an event and project manager for philanthropic organizations, non-profits, and politicians (Megan Barry, Jim Cooper).

The Louise Scruggs Memorial Forum, presented by Gibson Gives, honors music industry leaders who continue the legacy of trailblazer Louise Scruggs, a formidable businesswoman who set new professional standards in artist management. Ford Theater. Free and open to the public. Program ticket required.
