Dom Flemons is a historian, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, storyteller, and host of the American Songster Radio show on WSM 650 AM. As a solo artist, Flemons earned a 2018 Best Folk Album Grammy nomination for his album Black Cowboys, received two Mid-America Emmy nominations for his episode of the PBS special SongCraft Presents, and is a recipient of the United States Artists Fellowship. He released his latest album, Traveling Wildfire, in March. As a co-founder of the stringband Carolina Chocolate Drops, he won a Grammy for Best Traditional Folk Album in 2011. Ford Theater.
