Mark Miller is a songwriter for, founding member of, and lead vocalist in the country band Sawyer Brown, now celebrating their fortieth anniversary as a group. He wrote many of the band’s hits, including “Dirt Road,” “Drive Me Wild,” “The Walk,” “Some Girls Do,” “Step That Step,” and “Nashville Cat,” the first single from Sawyer Brown’s latest record, Desperado Troubadours, to be released March 8. Acclaimed acoustic guitarist and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mac McAnally wrote the Sawyer Brown hits “All These Years” and “Café on the Corner,” as well as two tracks on the band’s new album. Miller and McAnally co-wrote the group’s hits “Thank God for You” and “The Boys and Me.” Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission. Program ticket required. Free to Museum members.
