Songwriter, guitarist, and a founding member of Little Texas, Porter Howell wrote many of the band’s songs, including the Top Ten hits “God Blessed Texas,” “Kick a Little,” “My Love,” “Some Guys Have All the Love,” “What Might Have Been,” and “You, Forever, and Me.” In 2022, he released his debut solo album, This Town Was. Howell’s songs have also been recorded by Trace Adkins, Jeff Carson, Hall & Oates, and Montgomery Gentry. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission. Program ticket required. Free to Museum members.
