The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum plays host to hundreds of field trips all year round — both in-person and virtually. Get started by booking your educational experience today!

Reservations

Curriculum-based school programs and tours for groups of ten or more students are scheduled Monday through Friday. Reservations must be made by a teacher or a school representative, and are required at least one month in advance.

Pricing

School visits must be booked by a teacher. Professional Tour Operators will be directed to the Group Sales Department. All prices subject to change. Payment can be made in advance or on the day of the visit.

Theater programs require payment at least two weeks prior to the program. Science of Sound Historic RCA Studio B and Hatch Show Print programs may include an additional fee.

*All outreach programs are free to Metro Nashville Public Schools. Non-Metro schools with demonstrated need may apply for Arts Access Subsidy to receive a reduced rate or full waiver of fees.

Led live by museum educators, each virtual field trip provides an instructive, engaging, and fun experience for students to explore thematic content.

  • A minimum of one adult chaperone and a maximum of two adult chaperones per every ten students is required for all school programs. Required chaperones are admitted into the Museum for free.
  • Additional chaperones may attend by purchasing Museum admission ($27.95/ticket). Visit the main ticketing page to find out how to purchase general admission tickets to the Museum.
  • The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Arts Access Fund subsidizes the cost of field trips to the Museum and fees for distance-learning programs for K-12 schools with demonstrated need. Subsidies are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, as funds are available, with priority given to Title I schools. Please see the Arts Access Fund Application for eligibility details and to apply for funding.
  • Financial assistance may also be available through the Tennessee Arts Commission’s Student Ticket Subsidy, which supports artist fees, tickets, and transportation so that Tennessee public school students can experience a broad variety of cultural opportunities, arts disciplines, and artists. Admission varies by school type and location. Davidson County students receive free admission for group visits. Specific pricing information can be found on the top of this page. Payment is encouraged in advance.

There is a minimum of ten students per program; the maximum number of students varies with each program. Please email schools@countrymusichalloffame.org with any group-size questions.

  • A minimum of one adult chaperone and a maximum of two adult chaperones per every ten students is required for all school programs.
  • Students are divided into small groups for Museum tours, and chaperones must remain with the groups at all times. It is the responsibility of the chaperones to maintain orderly student behavior and to assist the tour guide.

Prior to their visit, teachers will receive a parking permit that allows school buses and 15+ passenger vans to park on Korean Veterans Boulevard. Buses should drop students off in front of the building on Demonbreun Street before parking at their designated spot.

There are several paid lots located around the Museum. The Music City Center and the Hilton Hotel are both across the street from the Museum and offer paid parking. Visit www.parkitdowntown.com for additional options.

Free professional development workshops assist teachers in preparing students for participating in our various school programs. Most workshops are scheduled on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
