Military Experiences

30 Minutes, Historic RCA Studio B

This itinerary, created especially for military groups, begins on world-famous “Music Row” with a guided tour of Historic RCA Studio B, Nashville’s most legendary studio, and one of the most important and successful studios in the world. Opened in 1957, RCA Studio B has produced more than 35,000 songs, over 1,000 top ten hits, and 262 recordings by Elvis Presley. Following the tour, your group will be assembled “choir-style” to record your military branch song. At the end of the recording we will have each member of the group step to that famous microphone to state his name and rank, which will be included at the end of your recording. All of your participants will then have their buddy’s voices on CD forever, as a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

The second leg of this itinerary will bring your group to tour the incredible Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Country music has long had a special kinship with the United States military. From the plaintive ballads of World War II that often lamented soldiers being separated from their families, like Kitty Wells’ “Heartbreak USA,” to the rousing “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue” by Toby Keith, penned following the attacks on September 11, 2001, country music has always represented the feelings and sacrifice of the American soldier. The Museum is a world-class facility featuring thousands of priceless artifacts, theater experiences, live music, a full-service restaurant, and the best variety of souvenirs, apparel, and music in the city.

We appreciate your service to our country, and we will strive to make this an experience you will never forget.
