Know Before You Go

We're excited to hear you are planning to visit the Museum. Here are some resources to help you get here, navigate the Museum and our policies, and receive answers to some of the most common questions. Hotel and parking information is also available below.

The Museum uses a timed ticketing system to help ensure a positive visitor experience. Please plan to arrive on time.

Tickets are available every 15 minutes. On-time arrivals will be offered priority line access as long as you arrive within your purchase window. Please note: This does not mean you will be able to “skip the line,” but that you are free to form or join the tour line without delay. Early or late arrivals will be accommodated as capacity allows.

The Museum galleries close at 5:00 PM. Most visitors spend an average of 2 hours enjoying them. Please note there are no refunds or exchanges if you missed your tour time/date.

If you purchase a tour of Historic RCA Studio B and/or Hatch Show Print, you will need to arrive at your queuing area at least 10 minutes prior to the tour time to ensure you do not miss the tour. To preserve the quality of the tour and avoid disruptions, late arrivals are not guaranteed access. The option to reschedule is based on availability and is not guaranteed. Refunds are not available after the tour has started.


There are several paid lots located around the Museum. The Music City Center (6th Avenue South and Demonbreun) and the Hilton Hotel are both across the street from the Museum and offer paid parking. Visit for additional options.

Note that spaces will not be reserved and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Availability of a space is not guaranteed.

Museum Members receive a $5 discount at these select Metropolis lots. To be redeemed ONLY by members via QR code validation by showing proof of membership to Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum staff upon entry to the Museum at the Member Desk.
