Now Open: Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock

The Museum’s new major exhibit traces the close-knit communities of visionary singers, songwriters, and musicians who lived in Los Angeles in the 1960s–1980s, and their role in creating and shaping country-rock, a sound that made a lasting impact on popular music. The exhibit surveys the rise of that sound, its key founders and players, and the inspiration that still resonates.
