Popular Summer Concert Series for Museum Members to Feature the Henningsens on June 3, Josh Thompson on July 10 and Holly Williams on August 1

NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 1, 2014 – The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will make the perks of museum membership even sweeter this summer with the return of its Hot Nights at the Hall concert series. Free to all museum members and staged in the museum’s beautiful Event Hall overlooking downtown Nashville, the fourth installment of the series will jumpstart with the Henningsens on June 3. Josh Thompson will follow on July 10, and Holly Williams will cap off the 2014 season on August 1. In addition to blue-ribbon live music, all shows feature autograph signings; complimentary food and a cash bar.

Individual tickets to the shows are available for $20 per show to non-members. The cost of museum membership starts at $45 and includes admission to all three Hot Nights at the Hall shows; a limited edition, commemorative Hot Nights at the Hall Hatch Show Print poster and after-hours access to select museum galleries prior to each show. Museum members also receive a year of free visits to the museum, discounts at the Museum Store and Hatch Show Print retail, invitations to other members-only events and much more. Tuesday, June 3        The Henningsens

The Henningsens are a family trio—father Brian Henningsen, daughter Clara Henningsen and son Aaron Henningsen—with deep farming roots. Musically, they have distinguished themselves both as songwriters and as performers specializing in lush harmonies. Before the group charmed audiences with their own self-penned hit “American Beautiful,” they provided The Band Perry with the dynamic "You Lie" and the chart-topping "All Your Life."  The Henningsens spent the summer of 2013 on tour with Brad Paisley. Thursday, July 10     Josh Thompson

Josh Thompson serves up southern-rock-infused anthems that provide rollicking escape for listeners looking to unwind. He also has a way with heartfelt story songs that pay homage to his classic country roots. Thompson’s 2010 debut album, Way Out Here, featured the hit “Beer on the Table.” He has written songs for Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley, and he has opened for acts including Aldean, Paisley, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Church and Justin Moore. Thompson’s new album, Turn It Up, has already yielded the chart-climber “Cold Beer with Your Name on It.” His latest single, “Wanted Me Gone,” is at country radio now.

Friday, August 1       Holly Williams

Holly Williams has allowed her art to evolve over time. After two acclaimed albums, her confidence and patience have made her one of Nashville’s most intriguing young singer-songwriters. The daughter of Hank Williams Jr. and the granddaughter of Hank Williams, she has emerged with her own style, prompting the New York Times to declare, “She’s often closer to songwriters like John Prine or Bruce Springsteen.” Guests including Dierks Bentley, Jackson Browne, Jakob Dylan and Gwyneth Paltrow appear on Williams’ album The Highway, released last year.

Museum members are invited to take self-guided tours of select museum galleries prior to each show at 5:30 p.m. Doors to the Event Hall will open at 6:00 p.m., and the concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. Each concert will be followed by an autograph signing.
