			<title>Nashville Cats: Salute to Ray Stevens</title>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;Though best known as an artist, for country and pop hits such as &quot;Ahab, the Arab,&quot; &quot;Everything Is Beautiful,&quot; and &quot;Misty,&quot; Ray Stevens also has played and sung on hundreds of sessions. His skills as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and producer led to his participation on recording dates for artists as varied as Brook Benton, Patti Page, Dolly Parton, and Tommy Roe. This program will emphasize the Georgia native's work as a musician, in the context of his career as an all-around entertainer. The in-depth interview will be illustrated with film, photos, and recordings from the museum's Frist Library and Archive. A signing will follow in the Museum Store. Included with museum admission. Conductor Jack will bring his banjo, guitar, and ukulele for a program full of train songs, dancing, and grooving to the music of these country pioneers.
