Community Pop-up: Beginner Ukulele Workshop at Nashville Public Library, Bordeaux Branch
Have you ever wanted to learn to play the ukulele? The Museum travels to the Nashville Public Library’s Bordeaux Branch to offer budding musicians a chance to strum this popular Hawaiian instrument while playing familiar songs. Participants will learn and practice ukulele basics with multi-instrumentalist and educator Anna Uptain, who has written several instructional books for beginning musicians.
Ukuleles provided, or bring your own.
Recommended for ages 7 and up, but all are welcome.
Presented in support of the Nashville Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge.
