The Museum travels to the Nashville Public Library’s North Branch to share stories and music and to create art in this one-hour program led by musician and educator Kayley Nell Walker, who has performed at the House of Blues in Dallas, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge in Nashville, and NBC’s Today in New York. Little listeners will enjoy a reading of Dolly Parton’s children’s book I Am a Rainbow, hear songs written by Parton, and make a colorful craft inspired by the artists, objects, and sounds featured in the Museum’s galleries. Presented in support of the Nashville Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge. Takes place at the Nashville Public Library’s North Branch, 1001 Monroe St., Nashville, TN, 37208. Recommended for ages 2 to 6 with accompanying adults, but all are welcome. Free.
