Write a song as a group in this introductory workshop. Get inspired by songs you know, then work together with new friends to write an original song. Museum educator and songwriter Kayley Nell Walker—who has performed on numerous stages, including the House of Blues in Dallas, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge in Nashville, and NBC’s Today show in New York City, and released her sophomore EP, Daydreaming, in 2020—will share songwriting insight and help get the creative juices flowing. What do you want to write a song about? Come share your ideas with us! All ages. Presented in support of the 2022 Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival. Takes place at Harlinsdale Farm, 239 Franklin Rd., Franklin, TN, 37064. Free with festival admission.
