Creative Zone: Cool Cars and Drivable Designs
Is there a car that holds special meaning to you or someone you know? Recording artist Chris Stapleton owns a 1979 Jeep Cherokee that helped inspire the songs on his album Traveller. Think about cars that bring memories or inspiration to you and explore the Museum’s galleries to see the vehicles on display, including Elvis Presley’s “Solid Gold” Cadillac, then create your own drivable design. What features and symbols will you include that represent you?
Offered in support of the exhibition Chris Stapleton: Since 1978, presented by Ram Trucks, an exhibition that explores the award-winning artist’s musical journey—from his Kentucky roots and success as a Nashville songwriter to his rise to stardom as one of country music’s most powerful and unique voices.
Recommended for ages 5 and up, but all are welcome.
