Spanning decades and musical styles, this far-ranging program of short films and videos culled from the Bob Dylan Archive in Tulsa, Oklahoma, features rare and previously unreleased clips of Dylan onstage and in the studio, as well as a glimpse into the Archive’s film restoration project. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Bob Dylan Center Director Steven Jenkins and Nashville-based singer-songwriters Robyn Hitchcock and Emma Swift. Pete Finney, a musician, a journalist, and the co-curator of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Dylan, Cash, and the Nashville Cats: A New Music City exhibition (2015–2018), will lead the conversation. Presented in partnership with the Bob Dylan Center. Program made possible in part by Bob Dylan Center member and Vanderbilt University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) instructor, Russ Heldman. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission. Program ticket required. Free to Museum members.
