Musician Spotlight: Megan Lynch Chowning
Megan Lynch Chowning is a seven-time national fiddle champion, touring musician, Grammy-nominated recording artist, teacher, and singer. She spent four years touring with country singers Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan and has played with bluegrass musicians including Dale Ann Bradley and Roland White.
Lynch Chowning has both contributed fiddle and vocals to dozens of recordings and released a series of solo albums. She teaches fiddle and vocals, co-directs the International Bluegrass Music Association award–winning Nashville Acoustic Camps, and has served as a judge for the National Fiddle Championships. During this program, Lynch Chowning will be accompanied by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ashby Frank.
