Shelby Means, an upright bassist and vocalist, is a member of Molly Tuttle’s Golden Highway band and a 2022 Americana Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year nominee. Previously a member of Della Mae, Means earned the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Emerging Artist of the Year award with the band and a Grammy nomination for their 2013 album This World Oft Can Be. Means has opened for the Avett Brothers, the Del McCoury Band, and Willie Nelson and has performed at festivals including Bonnaroo, RockyGrass, and Telluride. She has also played with Brandi Carlile, Jim Lauderdale, Lyle Lovett, Peter Rowan, Chris Thile, and Holly Williams. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission.
