Marvin Etzioni is a founding member of the band Lone Justice and the duo Thee Holy Brothers with Willie Aron. Etzioni wrote the Lone Justice songs “East of Eden,” “Working Late,” and “You Are the Light” and produced the band’s Viva Lone Justice album. His songs have also been recorded by Cheap Trick, Judy Collins, Maria McKee, Trombone Shorty, and the Williams Brothers, and he has also produced albums by Peter Case, Counting Crows, and Toad the Wet Sprocket. Etzioni has recorded duets with Buddy Miller, Richard Thompson, and Lucinda Williams, and his songs have been used on the television shows Banshee, Beverly Hills, 90210, and Orange Is the New Black. Offered in support of the exhibition Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock, presented by City National Bank.
