Fall Break Fun

Every country artist has their own story that, like the patches of a quilt, helps make up the full picture of country music. From October 6 through October 27, Museum visitors can visit the Information Desk to pick up a free packet full of fall activities that will encourage participation in the patchwork of country music while exploring the Museum galleries. Exhibits currently on view include the permanent exhibition Sing Me Back Home: Folk Roots to the Present, as well as Patty Loveless: No Trouble with the Truth; Dick Curless: Hard Traveling Man from Maine; Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock, presented by City National Bank; Eric Church: Country Heart, Restless Soul, presented by Gibson; and American Currents: State of the Music, featuring artifacts from the Black Opry, Luke Combs, Sierra Ferrell, Rhiannon Giddens, Reba McEntire, and many more. Hands-on programs take place every Friday through Sunday in the Taylor Swift Education Center.
