Tickets Still Available for Sept. 2 Performance Featuring Special Guests
Sept. 3 and Sept. 24 Dates Are Sold Out

NASHVILLE, Tenn., – August 13, 2015 – Rosanne Cash, the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum’s 2015 artist-in-residence, has sold out two performances, Sept. 3 and 24, at the museum. Limited tickets remain for her Sept. 2 performance.

With a career spanning almost four decades, Cash has recorded 15 albums, and earlier this year she won three Grammys for her latest, The River and the Thread. On it she explores her deep roots in the South and delivers some of the best work of her career. In recognition of her prowess as a writer, Cash was recently elected to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. The Sept. 2 program will feature a full-band performance of The River and the Thread for the first time in Nashville, favorites from Cash’s long career and surprise special guests.

Emmylou Harris and Lucinda Williams will appear with Cash for her sold-out appearance on Sept. 3 and Cash’s husband and creative partner, John Leventhal will join her on Sept. 24. Each of the three nights will offer a unique musical experience with one of America’s preeminent and enduring stars.

Ticket prices for Sept. 2 range from $45-$65 (plus ticketing fee) and can be purchased here. Ticket sales are limited to six tickets per transaction, available on a first come, first served basis and are non-refundable. Will call tickets will be available at 5 p.m. day-of-show at the ticketing office located in the Jerry & Ernie Williams Grand Lobby of the museum’s Fifth Avenue entrance.

Established in 2003, the museum’s annual residency program honors a musical master who can be credited with contributing a large and significant body of work to the canon of American popular music. The artist-in-residence is invited to use the museum’s performance venues to create unique musical experiences. Cash joins a prestigious group of past honorees that includes Cowboy Jack Clement, Earl Scruggs, Tom T. Hall, Guy Clark, Kris Kristofferson, Jerry Douglas, Vince Gill, Buddy Miller, Connie Smith, Kenny Rogers, Ricky Skaggs, and Alan Jackson.
