Keith Urban and Vince Gill Lead All-Star Evening That Included Special Guests Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Peter Frampton, Emmylou Harris, Sam Hunt, Jason Isbell, Chris Janson, Tracy Lawrence, Maddie & Tae, and Maren Morris

NASHVILLE, Tenn., – April 13, 2016 – The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum hosted the sixth All for the Hall benefit concert last night at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Four-time Grammy winner Keith Urban and Country Music Hall of Fame member Vince Gill led a star-studded evening that featured performances from special guests Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Peter Frampton, Emmylou Harris, Sam Hunt, Jason Isbell, Chris Janson, Tracy Lawrence, Maddie & Tae, and Maren Morris. A record-breaking event, the fundraiser netted over $712,000 with proceeds supporting the museum’s education programs, including its award-winning Words & Music program. To date, the benefit concert has netted over $3.3 million. ​

Amid the lineup of superstars, an emotional highlight of the evening came when a group of more than twenty students from Nashville’s McGavock High School filled the stage. They performed an original song, “Limited Time Offer,” with Gill, Urban, and professional songwriters Gary Burr and Georgia Middleman. Middleman and Burr co-wrote the song with the students through the museum’s flagship education program Words & Music. Their performance drew one of the biggest ovations of the evening.

In a common theme through all of the All for the Hall concerts, the performers paid tribute to their heroes. Many chose to honor recently deceased Country Music Hall of Fame member Merle Haggard, who passed away on April 6. During the finale, Gill and Urban returned to the stage to perform the Haggard classic “Sing Me Back Home.” Many of the performers then gathered on stage to pay tribute through a spirited version of Haggard’s “Mama Tried.”
