Songwriter Session: Steve Moakler
Hailing from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, singer-songwriter Steve Moakler wrote Dierks Bentley’s “Riser” and songs recorded by Reba McEntire, Ashley Monroe, Jake Owen, and Ben Rector. An artist himself, Moakler made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2016 and has opened for Dan + Shay, Faith Hill, Old Dominion, Willie Nelson, and Tim McGraw. He released his newest album, Make a Little Room, in 2022 and the single “Willie Nelson,” recorded with Jonathan Hutcherson, in 2025. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission.
